Make Suggestions

Content Contributor

A Content Contributor may add content and make suggestions to content currently available. However, a Content Contributor may not make content public or remove any content from the sub-site.

This role may be very helpful if there are staff that can help you add content to the site, yet you wish to review the information prior to allowing it go Public.

Submitting a suggestion for content is a multiple step process.

To make a suggestion for the content:

  • Select the "View/Submit Suggestions" link at the bottom of the paragraph.

A second window is displayed with the current version of the paragraph.

  • Select the plus sign in the Suggestions section of the page.

The Add Paragraph form is displayed with the current version in edit form.

  • Make any modifications to the content.
  • Select the "Create" button at the bottom of the form.

The paragraph is redisplayed below the original paragraph. Review the content for accuracy.

To Submit the suggestion to the editor:

  • Edit the paragraph by selecting the edit icon (pencil)
  • Use the drop down box to change the paragraph from "Draft" to "Submit for Approval".
  • Select the "Update" button at the bottom of the form.

The edited paragraph has been submitted and will be available for the Editor to approve.

  • Close the second window by selecting the "X" at the top right corner of the window.

The number on the bottom of the paragraph in the admin site is modified (upon refreshing of the page) to include the contributor's suggestion. The editor may View the suggestions for approval and to make public as necessary.
