Manage Repository Help
The Content Repository Manager allows Editors to view and manage all the contents of the repository in one place.

tells how many places that content object is being used. |

tells how many places that content object is viewable to Anonymous users. |

displays the date on which that content object was last modified. |
Export All Assets: allows Editors to export the content of the repository, except for questions and videos, into a SCORM-compliant XML format.
Re-Catalog: allows Administrators to recatalog the repository in order to get the proxies to reconnect to their content.
Manage Text Content, Images, Audio, Documents, and Video
These categories all may be accessed in the repository section and are managed in the same manner as stated above.
To add an Image, Audio, or Document:
- Select the type of content you want to manage (Image, Audio, or Document)
- Select "Add Image Asset" at the bottom of the manage box (or Audio, or Document)
- Add a title for the content in "Repository Title"
- Select the "Browse" button to search the files on your computer for the content you want to upload
- Add a description. (This is optional. If a description is not provided, the Title will automatically be used as the description.)
- Once the content information is entered, select the "Create" button at the bottom.
You may now use this Image, Audio, or Document throughout the Meta-site.
To add a Video:
- Select "Manage Video"
- Select "Add Video Asset" at the bottom of the manage box
- Add a title for the video in "Repository Title"
- Enter the address of the server path (ex. rtsp://www.video_server.com/videos)
- Enter the remaining address of the file name (ex. educational_video.ram)
- Verify the dimensions of the video
- Select the format of the video using the drop down arrow
- Add a description. (This is optional. If a description is not provided, the Title will automatically be used as the description.)
- Once the information is entered, select the "Create" button at the bottom.
You may now use this Video throughout the Meta-site.
View Repository Statistics
This provides a table listing each type of Knowledge Object in the repository and the number of unique instances of that type.
Set Repository Options
The Repository Options currently has one option. This is to show thumbnail views of the images under Manage Images. The Content Editor may deselect this option or use the drop down box to change the size of the thumbnail images.
